Cartage Coordinator - International Freight Forwarding

Our client is a very well established and successful international freight forwarder and customs agency.  They are best known for providing the highest quality of service to their diverse client base. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced cartage coordinator to join their dynamic and friendly team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the cartage process, such as arranging transport for FCL & LCL shipments, monitoring shipment status and updating clients of arrival times/dates, process GST and duty payments, and liaising with internal divisions to ensure all timelines are met for clients needs.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm and requires a committed, reliable individual who understands the importance of a good work ethic and can bring a professional, friendly and helpful manner to a fast paced environment.

To be considered for this position you must have previous cartage experience gained specifically within International Freight Forwarding environment and strong computer skills.
