Pace are pleased to be in partnership with this leading global organisation established in 1822 and one of the world’s top 500 companies.  With over 600 offices over 105 countries to become one of the world’s top 10 transport & logistics companies.  Active in Australia since the 1980’s and offering a strong presence throughout the Asia/Pacific region, they are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Human Resources leader to manage the operational delivery of all HR services including payroll.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Human Resources Manager is responsible to provide leadership in all Human Resources matters including provision of expert HR advice to the Director, senior managers and staff members across Australia & New Zealand plus assist Fiji required.

  • Manage all facets of internal and external recruitment processes
  • Execution of all employment paperwork
  • Staff induction
  • Management of employee probation periods
  • Performance management
  • Performance appraisals
  • Training and development
  • Management of employee exit process as required
  • Maintaining and updating policies, procedures, forms and letters
  • Reporting
  • Budgeting
  • Employee advice and counselling
  • Record keeping
  • Manage payroll
  • Presentations as required

To be considered for the role you must posses:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resource Management
  • Minimum 5 years Human Resources experience
  • Strong and proven knowledge of the Fairwork Act, Australian workplace law and relevant Awards
  • Knowledge and awareness of ISO accreditation standards
  • Knowledge on Workers Compensation Claims
  • Knowledge of payroll
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An approachable and friendly manner with strong communication skills and the ability to really connect and listen.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Strong Microsoft Office products knowledge
