Our valued client is a successful provider of integrated logistics services who pride themselves on providing personalised solutions to their diverse client base. They are now searching for a proactive and customer focused individual to join their already successful team and take ownership in key role.

Join a team of like-minded professionals working in a friendly and positive environment. You will be responsible for managing the international freight movements for Import shipments while providing an exception level of customer service.  

Do you have the experience we require?

You will need to have a clear understanding of the processes and procedures related to import operations, your daily duties will include –

  • Import registrations, lodging cargo automation, liaison with internal customs department, track and trace of shipments
  • Liaison with shipping lines, overseas agents and relevant government bodies
  • Working with time lines and meeting strict deadlines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide high level of customer service

To be considered for this position applicants must have minimum 12 months experience within the international freight forwarding industry in an operations capacity. Excellent communication and time management skills, good work ethic and a positive attitude are essential as well as experience with EDI/Cargowise software.
