Our client is a reputable wholesaler of niche consumer products looking for a well-versed and proactive Warehouse Manager to handle their logistics operations leading the inventory, warehouse and inbound / outbound functions whilst further developing strategic departmental plans.

They are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, communication and presentation skills to head up their warehouse and 3PL facilities in Melbourne's South East and interstate. You will be articulate, well-presented, professional and communicative, as well as having strong relationship management skills.

This role will encompass frequent executive management meetings where you will be required to present recommendations, statistics and various other reports to senior members of the organisation.

The chosen candidate will also have experience in a similar supply chain role with an aptitude for process improvement, and safety/OHS implementation. Exposure to FIFO and a solid understanding of RF scan to pick system is essential for success in the role.

There is also a strong requirement for regular reporting, forecasting, managing domestic and international logistics functions, liaising and monitoring 3PLs, inventory, cycle counts, procurement, SOP and data analysis reporting, recruitment, managing backorders, despatch & receiving duties, negotiating tenders and ensuring DIFOT.
