Warehouse Supervisor

Well located in Melbourne’s Western suburbs; our client is a leading manufacturer of technology products of which serves and supports customers in a diverse range of industries. An opportunity has now presented itself for the right candidate to join a fast-paced moving environment as a Warehouse Supervisor. Managing a warehouse team, your duties will include but are not limited to:
•Organising and scheduling delivery runs to ensure orders are received in full and on time and appropriate documentation is filed
•Creating and maintaining a zero-harm environment
•Leadership responsibilities i.e. mentoring and training
•Scheduling inbound and outbound containers
•Identify efficiencies for warehouse processes and safety procedures
•Assisting with manual loading of trucks
•Leading and attending regular meetings with senior management
•Regular reporting (warehouse reports, verbal quotes, lead times), forecasting, scheduling and liaison with relevant external and internal departments
•Assisting production, logistics, sales & customer service teams
•Providing recommendations to senior management to improve warehouse and overall business efficacy as well as constantly streamlining processes and procedures
•Receiving, processing and returned goods
•Manage all domestic and international logistic providers as well as customer brokers and freight forwarders
•Adhering to legal and statutory safety requirements regarding stock quality
•Managing recruitment process for new warehouse staff as well as leading and managing floor staff
•Negotiation and qualification of RFG and warehouse/logistics tenders
•Cycle counts and inventory
•Ad hoc warehousing duties i.e. manual loading and forklift driving

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
•SAP experience essential
•ISO 9001 experience highly regarded
•Microsoft Office Suite
•Customer service/PR/HR
•Strong attention to detail
•Drive & passion for hard work
•Sound communication skills both verbal and written
•Relevant degree/qualification
•Forklift license
