Our client is a global manufacturer of a niche product range, on the hunt for a driven & strategic Supply Chain & Procurement Coordinator to join their growing operation in Newcastle.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Strong supplier relationships that drive innovative solutions cross departmentally
• Forecasting and analysis - ensuring of appropriate inventory as required
• Best practice processes across business including ensuring efficiency for purchasing of goods, raw materials, and services
• Strategies to reduce procurement risks, cost reduction and optimisation of the procurement processes
• Monitoring supplier allocations 
• Long term procurement strategies that can be easily communicated cross departmentally
• Working closely with demand, supply, sales, procurement & product management departments 
• Strategies to reduce procurement risks, cost reduction and optimisation of the procurement processes
• End to end material management & forecast variances 
• Ad hoc administration as required
• Assisting with import and tracking of shipments to ensure ETAs are being achieved
• Maintaining data integrity & orders via SAP

About You:

• Previous experience working experience in a supply chain & procurement environment
• Effective organisational & planning skills
• Experience with SAP is required 
• Proven administration experience
• High attention to detail 
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitask
