Reporting to the Head of Department, the successful candidate will assist in financial control to assure the commercial health of the company and achieving financial objectives. Specific duties will consist of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, board reporting, debtor management, cashflow, assisting with internal control procedures, compliance and various other duties as required. As a role with many different duties, high levels of adaptability will be paramount to cater for changing priorities.
The Individual
The company are looking to appoint a professional who is degree educated and has either completed or commenced CA/CPA qualifications or has a desire to do so. Whether you have a passion for food, exports, beef, manufacturing or agribusiness, or alternatively are a management accountant (experience in the protein industry is highly regarded though not essential), we welcome your interest. As you will be frequently dealing with many different stakeholders, first class communication skills are paramount as is the capability to work within a multi business unit enterprise and operate from the Brisbane city office Monday to Friday.
