About the role
Booking all FCL wharf cartage, LCL and air transport movements for your list of clients with final invoicing and transport rate negotiations for those interested in doing so. Build your industry reputation as the reliable and confident cartage coordinator that has all the transport companies and bookings at their fingertips and able to work wonders for as well as clients knowing you are reliable and confident and the go to in the industry, whilst training in all aspects of forwarding through the company.
Duties & Responsibilities - Time slot bookings through transport companies for wharf and airline cartage
- Daily interaction with clients for updates
- Checking customs for cleared cargo or any issues that arise
- Department and warehouse relationship building and interactions
- Final Invoicing
- Cross training in all aspects of forwarding
Skills & Experience - Freight forwarding experience
- Sea & Air cartage skills (training for where you may be lacking)
- Cyberfreight system experience advantagous
- Final invoicing exposure advantagous
- Confidence in negotiations
- Ability to handle pressure situations and deadlines
