Pace have joined with a leading provider of comprehensive pipe processing solutions, with a state-of-the-art facility encompassing a machine shop, fabrication, general engineering services, thread gauging, and inspection services. Located in Dalby, Queensland, they serve major clients in the coal seam gas (CSG) and mining industries, prioritising the delivery of top-quality workmanship.
 
Position Overview:
 
They are seeking a motivated individual to join their Dalby, Queensland team as a CNC Lathe Operator/Labourer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our CNC lathe machines while maintaining high standards of quality control and adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations, demonstrating safe work practices at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of quality control throughout the production process.
• Ensure accurate marking and labelling of products.
• Complete necessary record-keeping and paperwork associated with production tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently when required.
• Perform manual handling tasks and general labouring duties as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations through regular housekeeping activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in operating CNC lathe machines or similar equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting workshop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and general labouring duties.
• Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a high-risk forklift license (preferred but not essential).
