Due to unprecedented growth, they are now seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team in customer focused role.
Managing a portfolio of their valued customers your responsibilities will include:
- Establish and maintain long-term sustainable partnerships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Prompt attention to customer quote requests and purchase order management
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding bookings, new orders, status updates, billing, and transport
- Liaison with airlines, shipping lines, overseas partners, and other relevant parties to request rate and service information and booking control.
- Maintain regular communication with internal departments to monitor shipment coordination and ensure timeframes are met.
- Preparation and management of reports as per customer SOP’s.
- Problem solve, promptly resolving any issues as they arise.
To be considered for this position you will be a dynamic team player with the drive to succeed, able to work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solutions orientated with effective problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Cargowise preferred. Recent experience in import operations or customer service within a freight forwarding environment essential.
