Global corporate forwarding & customs business based in the south of Sydney with free parking, WFH as well as start and finish time flexibilities and a tenured staff, most of which being with the business 5+ years minimum. Blue chip accounts for branded names you will know, as well as a support team in operations that are second to none when it comes to information and documentation requirements for you to complete your duties more efficiently.


About the role

Joining the customs team of established brokers, and developing comp/classifiers and covering your own portfolio of clients cargo into Sydney lodgements, as well as helping out other states in busy periods and account managing your clients supply chain requests and concerns along with the cartage team at the final stages of delivery. If leadership is your desire, the company have a strong leadership program and training that will get you there when you are ready.


Duties & Responsibilities

• Lodgements for all customs jobs into Sydney
• Liaising with clients, internal departments and overseas
• Final Invoicing and interstate help on occasion
• Tracking clearance of cargo and any trouble shooting along with way
• Checking over comp/class teams work
• Up-skilling juniors in team

Skills & Experience

• Current Australian customs broker license
• Freight forwarding and/or customs focused background
• Expedient software exposure, desirable
• Good tenure in work history, advantageous
• Complex import commodity dealings
• Dedicated & resilient attitude and temperament
