The Role

You'll be responsible for managing freight movements from booking through to final delivery, ensuring customers receive exceptional service every step of the way.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end import and export shipments
• Liaising with overseas agents, customers and suppliers
• Coordinating transport, deliveries and specialised cargo movements
• Managing documentation, PRA/ERA processes and compliance requirements
• Negotiating rates with carriers and service providers
• Resolving operational issues and customer enquiries
• Assisting with onboarding new customers
• Preparing load plans and coordinating project freight
• Invoicing and maintaining accurate shipment records

About You

We're open to speaking with freight forwarding professionals from a variety of operational backgrounds.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in import freight forwarding operations
• Exposure to exports, cartage or customs processes (highly regarded)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• A proactive approach to problem solving
• The ability to work autonomously while being part of a team

Experience handling project cargo, breakbulk, vehicles, boats or oversized freight is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.
