Pace Appointments is pleased to partner with a modern and dynamic manufacturing facility located on Brisbane’s northside.  Our client, a leader in their field, operates with cutting-edge technology and is seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their team in a permanent day shift role (8:30 am to 5:00 pm).

The Role

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and systems by performing:

• Preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime.
• Diagnosis and repair of faults for optimal equipment performance.
• Installation and enhancement of equipment to maintain operational excellence.
• Fault finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving across automated and mechanical systems.
• Maintenance of CNC machines, hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
• Interpretation of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings to resolve technical issues.
• Identification and rectification of quality issues to uphold high production standards.

Weekend availability is essential as some weekend work may be required.

Skills Required

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Trade Qualifications: Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
• Experience: Demonstrated expertise in CNC machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for automated systems and equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical).
• A proactive approach to maintenance and problem resolution.
