About the Role: As our Maintenance Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring the plant runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You'll be responsible for developing and executing preventive maintenance plans, coordinating work orders, managing spare parts and inventory, and overseeing contractors on site. This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified or experienced planner looking to stay close to the tools while stepping into a vital planning and coordination position.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
✅ Occasionally perform hands-on mechanical/electrical maintenance and support troubleshooting
✅ Review and prioritise work requests, create clear work orders for the team
✅ Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination
✅ Supervise external contractors to ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standards
✅ Monitor equipment reliability, analyse downtime trends, and contribute to continuous improvement
✅ Ensure accurate documentation and CMMS records (we use MEX)
✅ Promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with Australian WHS and HACCP standards
✅ Collaborate with production, QA, and engineering teams to minimise downtime

What We’re Looking For:
�� Experience: Minimum 3 years in a maintenance planning or similar role, ideally in a food/FMCG environment
�� Qualifications: Trade background or relevant qualifications in maintenance, engineering or planning
��️ Technical Know-How: Familiarity with CMMS (preferably MEX), GMP/HACCP knowledge, and basic mechanical/electrical understanding
�� Mindset: Organised, safety-focused, problem-solver with attention to detail and excellent communication skills
�� Tech Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital scheduling tools
