About the Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you will work with hydraulic extrusion presses and processing equipment, focusing on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. This position operates on a rotating roster, with one week of night shifts every 7 weeks.
Night Shift: Sunday night to Thursday night, 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
A 30% shift loading applies to all night shifts.
Overtime opportunities are available on most Saturdays, with RDOs also offered. Overtime rates are paid, and RDOs can be accumulated and used as leave. This is an onsite role, where you will contribute directly to the company's success.
About You - Qualified Fitter/Turner – Cert III Engineering compulsory
- Forklift licence is preferable, but not mandatory
- MIG & TIG Welding experience
- EWP & WAH tickets
- Heavy industrial experience e.g. mining is highly regarded
- Must be able to pass drug & alcohol test
