Due to continued growth and success, an opportunity is now available for an ambitious, results driven sales professional to join their global head office, based in Brisbane CBD.
  
This key role will see you drive activity to identify and gain new business opportunities by engaging with SMEs through proactive outreach and in person meetings, showcasing industry leading shipping solutions and fostering long-term relationships. A genuine opportunity also exists for the right person to step up, lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  
Responsibilities will include:

• Proactively connect with potential customers, introducing company services and offering a consultative and solutions orientated approach to their freight logistics requirements.
• Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture relationships, guiding them from initial contact to becoming actively shipping customers.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, proactively engage to assess their evolving needs, anticipate any potential challenges, ensuring an optimal level of customer service provided at all times.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to the sales team to enhance their skills and improve performance. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning, goal setting, and the development of individual growth plans for each team member.  

You will be a self-motivated and a confident team player, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels, influence, and build strong customer connections. Solutions oriented with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Tech savvy, confident using digital tools and sales platforms, adapting to new technology quickly.

Previous experience in an international and domestic freight forwarding environment essential, with an express carrier background preferred.
