Seeking a professional that is highly motivated, self-driven and comfortable exercising strength in decision making and engagement with stakeholders alike, you will join a leading commodity import operation.
In this position, you will undertake administrative processes, predominantly providing support to sales and warehousing teams and customers, and responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Managing purchase orders and associated procurement responsibilities;
- Supporting logistics and shipping requirements by processing + forwarding shipping documents to customs brokers, transport providers and customers;
- Providing pro-active customer service and on-time delivery, accurate order processing and invoicing;
- Preparation of overseas costings, placing orders, receipting and delivery related advice;
- Coordinating stock, sales and delivery related matters;
- Investigation of customer complaints and claims.
The ideal candidate for this role will display previous experience in a sales support capacity, ideally within Import/Export operations (preferred not essential), and complimented by unrivalled interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exemplary attention to detail, impressive time management skills, solid work ethic and the ability to work autonomously by engaging initiative to problem solve.
