Our client has a global presence and provide a unique supply chain service to a targeted industry. They are a renowned world leader in their field.
Required is an experienced logistics professional with a keen eye for detail, accustomed to working across multiple platforms/systems/portals, entering and transferring complex data in a time critical environment, whilst managing multiple stakeholders. The premise of this engagement is to support the team in providing day-to-day logistics coordination for a key account, ensuring service deliveries are met in line with client objectives and product is delivered on time and in full.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Processing inherent documentation on time and to standard whilst also performing the function of primary contact between all parties;
- Providing accurate and timely corrective actions, solutions and exemplary follow up to resolve issues or change of plans;
- Building and maintaining relationships with custom agents, suppliers, operations, customers and suppliers;
- Diligently transposing data from multiple portals/systems, maintaining data integrity via reconciliation and rigorous and effective cross checking processes, to provide accurate visibility to all stakeholders at all times.
A general knowledge of shipping procedures and vessel operations, including understanding of stowage procedures, discharge/load operations, product handling, shipping manifests, quarantine and Customs is highly regarded.
An intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and whilst familiarity with SAP systems is advantageous, it is not mandatory nor is experience in Power BI though would be highly regarded. Undoubtedly, you will be professional, able to manage your time efficiently and capable of working autonomously in addition to leading a small team in the absence of the manger in step up capacity. You will be detail orientated to enable the perpetual extraction and entry of data within various locations, and confident in your approach when dealing with clients and service providers.
