About the Role

• Perform comprehensive market research to assess new market opportunities, including size, growth potential, and competitive landscape.
• Analyse industry, economic, and competitor trends to uncover risks and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate market insights into detailed financial models and business plans.
• Conduct in-depth financial assessments, including profitability analysis, cash flow reviews, and ROI evaluations.
• Develop robust financial models to assist with decision-making and future business planning.
• Create and present financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts to senior management.
• Provide strategic recommendations on potential investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

About You

• Proven experience in market research, with a demonstrated ability to analyse new markets and identify growth opportunities.
• Advanced proficiency in developing complex financial models for diverse business cases.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, forecast trends, and evaluate risks.
• Relevant qualifications such as a CA, CFA, or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis and market research roles.
• Proficient in financial reporting tools and software with a strong commercial and business acumen.
• Previous experience with business development, particularly in local and Southeast Asian markets, is highly desirable.
