Our client is an importer of consumer products with a name that is recognised across major retail stores both nationally and internationally. With an increasing portfolio of brands leading their respective categories. They are now seeking an experienced and dynamic individual with an industry background in FMCG/ Retail and/or Consumer Product to join their company in a Human Resources Manager role.
This is a multi-faceted role where you will partner with internal stakeholders in order to develop and implemented human resources strategies across the business, assisting the offices in China, Los Angeles, London and Melbourne, contributing to the implementation of HR plans and processes aligned to the company strategic commitments and initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, this is a solo role that will give to the right candidate the ability to develop and build their own team and processes.
Responsibilities: - Develop HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and working with senior management to achieve the business goals in a global scale across, US (Los Angeles), Australia, China, and UK (London)
- Recruitment –assist with job advertising, job descriptions, interview scheduling, contract generation
- Onboarding & Offboarding –coordination of on-boarding and off-boarding
- Training –assist with developing, coordinating, and scheduling training across the business
- Generating reports and/or liaising with our payroll provider
- Employee Health & Safety & First Aid –coordinate the EHS & First Aid requirements
- Policies and Procedures –assist with the review and implementation of company policies and procedures
- Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like employee turnover and implement a broad range of HR initiatives to support workforce management and retention
Knowledge and skills: - 3+ years prior experience in HR management roles with industry background in FMCG/ Retail and/or Consumer Product.
- Leadership and excellent communications skills
- Strong understanding of OHS principles, policy, and legislation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to create a positive culture of employee engagement, collaboration, and team spirit.
- Comfortable working autonomously and in collaboration with others
- Influencing skills and interfacing with senior members of the business.
- Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
