International Freight & Customs business with offices nationally and strategically placed across the globe in their target market of general and project cargo movements in and out of Melbourne. The Role

Starting out in a Sales Support capacity, assisting the Sales road and internal teams with quotations and proposals, as well as rate management for all buy & sell rates in the Cargowise system for all agents, suppliers and carriers.  This role will then move you into Customer Service where you will get your own portfolio of international accounts to organise all routing and bookings, to then move into Account Management, supplying strategic supply chain solutions and troubleshooting for your unique list of clients. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Quotations and some proposals for new business
• Liaising with internal departments
• Liaising with carriers, agents and suppliers
• Weekly sales meetings for any new insights and queries
• Eventual routing and bookings for all international movements of clients
• Eventual go to for all your clients needs and 

Skills & Experience

• Freight Forwarding experience
• INCOTERMS understanding
• Quotation background
• Confidence to call carriers, suppliers and clients
• Negotiation skills, advantageous
• Genuine desire to develop into Customer Service and eventually Account Management
