Our client is a successful Australian owned Forwarding Company located in Tullamarine who is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to overseas a team of Import/Export operators.

Working within the Operational team your responsibilities will include, supervising 8 staff members in the Import Export department, dealing with airlines and shipping lines for space and rates, liaise with overseas networks to secure best rates and services for clients, controlling the order management process, sourcing rates/costs for imports and exports for invoicing as well as working with the customs and transport teams to achieve the best outcomes for timely clearances and deliveries.

The successful applicant will have experience in both air and sea freight, happy to be hands on when required, but also be the point of contact for any issues which need to be sorted ASAP

Salary for this role is negotiable and dependent on candidate experience.
