An opportunity has arisen within their Head Office for a suitably experienced individual who prides themselves on their ability to provide exceptional service within this fast paced, often challenging industry.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position will see you liaising with overseas agents and local clients to ensure cargo is moved in a timely and cost effective manner and within the clients' required deadlines. You will monitor and report on cargo status, escalating any concerns and working with the team to manage through to resolution.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable, professional forwarder in a role offering plenty of variety and client interaction.
To be considered for this position applicants must have recent experience gained specifically within an international freight forwarding environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a professional manner and the confidence to liaise directly with clients (face to face and over the telephone) are all essential attributes.
