Our client is a world leading mining and processing company located south of the river.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position is responsible for the day to day supervision of the customer service team. With a number of direct reports, the principal activities of this position include:
- Advising the customer service team on order/customer queries;
- Determining and coordinating team members roles and responsibilities, managing direct reports and reviewing staff performance;
- Checking and authorising work and handling customer service issues as they arise on a daily basis;
- Extensive internal and external liaison with customers, agents, sales and production staff.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous experience in supervising an export customer service and documentation team. Extensive knowledge of export documentation and country regulations is essential with working knowledge of SAP an advantage. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
