In this customer centric role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service for both new and existing clients and day to day support to the field sales team to assist in maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.
Managing a portfolio of general and key accounts, responsibilities will include -
- Prompt attention to customer enquiries and resolving any issues as they arise
- Assist in the preparation of quotations and tenders for prospective customers as required
- Liaison with overseas offices / agents and service providers to request rates and service information
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with new and existing clients
- Order management and shipment updates, maintenance of status reports
- Maintaining rate schedules and client records
- Assist with implementation of new business including customer profiles and operational procedures with sales staff
You will be a proactive, solutions orientated professional with a positive attitude and high attention to detail. Possess highly developed interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to foster long term relationships. Well organised, able to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum 12 months experience within a freight forwarding environment essential in a customer service or operations capacity. Cargowise experience preferred.
