Our client is currently looking for qualified Electricians and Fitters to join their maintenance teams based in Rockhampton and Biloela.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding intricate meat processing machines
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
- Assist in the identification and elimination of bottle necks
- Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment/production downtime
Benefits - An annual salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 and an hourly rate of $40 - $53 relevant to experience and expertise

As a Maintenance Electrician, it is essential you possess: - Electrical trade qualification
- Knowledge of Instrumentation
- Excellent communications and technical skills
- Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings
- Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs
- Switchboard building experience (desirable)
- PLC and HMI programming experience (desirable)
- Fire systems experience (desirable)
- Current drivers license.
As a Maintenance Fitter, it is essential you possess: - A Trade Fitter qualification
- Medium/strong hydraulic experience (fault finding)
- Medium/strong Pneumatic experience (fault finding)
- Experience in processing plants under pressure conditions
- Welding skills in TIG, MIG, and ARC
- Experience in overhauling pumps & fault finding package machines.
