The Logistics Coordinator role is responsible for providing essential assistance in maintaining the efficiency of Ausfine's inventory management, contributing to strategic logistics, and supporting various business initiatives. This role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities, including inventory reconciliation, coordination with 3PL facilities, and providing exceptional customer service support.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Sales order processing - receive, process, arrange and confirm domestic delivery orders as received from the Trading team.
- Be the primary customer service point of contact for designated customers.
- Work closely with management and traders to finance invoices.
- Liaising with logistics suppliers - warehouses, transport companies etc including arranging deliveries as necessary for domestic shipments
- Keep all stakeholders informed of contract balances, including abnormal movements, on distribution and Australian orders to prevent shortages, delays and mitigate slow moving stock.
- Create and maintain external and internal stakeholder relationships.
About you:
- At least 3 years in a logistics role
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Experience managing third party logistics providers is essential
- Previous experience in dairy and/or meat industry is desirable
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to work well within a team but also autonomously.
- Proficient with ERM systems - Microsoft Dynamics and /or BSM favourably.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong ability to build relationships and adapt communication styles
