Supplying a broad network of manufacturers with industrial food and beverage products, our client - an importer and wholesaler - continues to forge ahead in the quality and service stakes. Required is a broad and lateral thinking individual who possess outstanding client service skills. Working in a team environment your role will include the coordination of international and local logistics as well as the following duties:
- Order processing and contract management from start to end
- Monitor international shipments (back to backs, imports, exports, and stock containers)
- Arranging warehouse stock releases
- Liaising with stakeholders including warehouses, transport companies and customers to ensure delivery requirements are met
- Preparing, checking, requesting, and processing documentation
- Monitoring domestic and international deliveries and keeping customers updated
- Sample dispatch and record keeping
- Relationship management with service providers
- Providing sales support to the sales team and other teams as required
- Other admin duties as required
About you: The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who has a strong willingness to learn. You will be working with a wide variety of food products and a large client base nationally. This will be a rewarding and enjoyable role for a highly organised and detailed customer service professional. You will also ideally have:
- At least 2 years experience in an Import/Export focused role
- Previous experience in Food, FMCG industry
- Strong administrative background
- Intermediate - advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude
