Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will drive growth for leading freight forwarders by managing and expanding client portfolios. Your focus will be on acquiring new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets across air and sea freight services. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll have the support and resources to deliver exceptional results while contributing to the company’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business acquisition and grow existing client portfolios
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and service providers
Achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets
Provide expert advice on air and sea freight solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Prepare proposals, quotes, and commercial agreements for clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven track record in business development or sales within international freight (air and/or sea)
Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills
Experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Recent freight forwarding experience.
