Our client is a well established freight forwarder who has enjoyed consistent growth and success over the years due to their dynamic management team and their combined industry expertise. An opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Export Officer to join their Tullamarine team and get involved in all aspects of export operations (air and ocean) in a role offering lots of variety and client interaction.
  
Position Overview:
This role covers all aspects of export operations, including air and ocean shipments, and offers a variety of tasks with strong client interaction. It’s ideal for someone looking to apply their export experience in a dynamic and supportive environment
  
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate documentation for the movement of export freight
Take export bookings (LCL & FCL)
Generate Export (EDN's, PRA's)
Coordinating collection and delivery of containers to the terminal
Ensure compliance with AQIS, Customs and other relevant parties
Liaising with clients, carriers and overseas agents
Lodging export declarations
Prepare Export Bills of Lading
Act as a key contact for customers
Provide an excellent level of Customer Service
  
Qualifications and Experience:
Recent experience in export operations within international freight forwarding
Knowledge of air and ocean export procedures and documentation
Strong client liaison and organisational skills
Salary based on industry experience and expertise
