The Role: In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating shipments, cartage coordination, manage bookings, handle documentation, liaise with transport providers and customs brokers and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role also includes customer service, data entry, and assisting with billing and permit processing. It’s a hands-on position that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Manage import and export shipments for air and sea freight.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners.
- Book transport with hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, and couriers.
- Enter shipment details and work with Customs Brokers for clearance.
- Respond to customer questions and requests.
- Keep records and systems up to date.
- Assist with end-of-month processes,
Requirements: - 2+ years experience in freight forwarding air/ sea
- Solid understanding of cartage/local transport logistics.
- Proficient in Cargowise and ICS
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
