Excellent career opportunity for a client focused, motivated individual with solid international forwarding experience (Ideally with Consolidation experience) and the ability to lead and mentor a ever-growing team to their full potential.
  
Our client is a very well established, international freight forwarder and Consolidator. An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced individual to join their branch and run the Import Operations Forwarding team. Reporting to the Managing Director

Key responsibilities will include:

• End to end management of the operations & Customer Service department of 8 staff locally, along with an offshore team in the Philippines
• Identifying operational issues and seeing through to resolution
• Managing budgets and local costs to ensure targets are achieved and taking appropriate action to ensure costs are minimized
• Weekly maintenance and auditing of WIPs and accruals
• Managing workflows
• Staff management
• Operational support as required

To be considered for this integral senior level position applicants must be able to demonstrate recent staff management experience gained within an import forwarding environment coupled with solid import forwarding operational knowledge. Consolidation experience would be a huge bonus!
