Our client is a major mining resources group involved in exploration, project development, operations and marketing. A global business, with its Head Office located in Perth, this company is at the forefront of its industry through growth and technological innovation.
  
As the Shipping & Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical support role to the Shipping and Logistics team through the efficient coordination of products to customers in line with agreed schedules.
  
Specifically, this position is responsible for:  

• Coordinating with site operations personnel, shipping companies, brokers, agents, transport providers and customers to arrange freight and oversee the shipment of products via bulk vessels, trucks, and containers.
• Receiving customer purchase orders, create sales orders and prepare and issue all required shipping documentation in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Raising purchase requisitions, reconcile freight and logistics invoice and generate service entries for payment processing.
• Ensuring all shipping and logistics activities comply with the company’s management systems, quality standards and applicable statutory requirements.  

The successful applicant MUST HAVE experience in the coordination of bulk export shipments, Letters of Credit and associated documentation.
