Our client, a global leader in innovative architectural systems, is seeking an experienced Architectural Specifications Manager to join their team. This role is critical in driving the specification of premium building products across the commercial architectural, engineering, and construction sectors.

In this senior, market-facing position, you will leverage established commercial relationships to influence specification on complex projects. You will work closely with architects and key specifiers, delivering technical expertise and CPD presentations to ensure products are correctly specified from early design through to tender. The role offers the opportunity to shape major commercial projects, influence industry standards, and strengthen long-term market presence.

About the Role:

• Manage and grow relationships with commercial architectural firms, engineers, consultants, and industry influencers
• Leverage existing commercial-sector contacts to generate and protect specification opportunities
• Maintain a high level of face-to-face engagement with architects to drive commercial project outcomes
• Deliver engaging CPD presentations, technical briefings, and in-house product demonstrations
• Provide expert technical advice to ensure correct specification, compliance, and performance outcomes on commercial buildings
• Support value engineering discussions through solution-based consultation
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of commercial specifications from early design through to tender
• Maintain strong knowledge of commercial building codes, compliance requirements, and performance standards
• Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
• Collaborate with internal sales, estimating, marketing, technical, and R&D teams to support project success
• Accurately track all client, project, and specification activity in Salesforce, ensuring disciplined CRM management

About You

• Proven experience within the commercial building sector in architectural specification, technical sales, or business development
• Established commercial contacts with architectural practices, consultants, and specifiers
• Mandatory experience in roofing, cladding, façade, or related commercial architectural systems
• Demonstrated experience delivering CPD presentations to commercial architectural audiences
• Strong understanding of commercial building codes, compliance standards, and performance-based design
• Technical aptitude, including the ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and influencing skills with architects, engineers, and consultants
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Willingness to travel interstate as required
