Our client is a leading provider within the pooled equipment and logistics sector, supporting businesses across Australia with innovative asset management solutions. They are seeking a motivated Customer Support Executive to join their team, combining customer engagement with analytical problem-solving.
This is a customer-facing role where you will support businesses in managing their equipment accounts, reconciling pallet usage, and providing training to improve accuracy and efficiency. With a balance of time on the road and office-based work, this role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships.
About the Role - Manage and develop a portfolio of customers, building strong relationships.
- Support customers with equipment reconciliation and recovery of lost pallets.
- Deliver training, providing guidance on correct use.
- Analyse data, complete stocktake reconciliation reports, and identify variances.
- Provide insight and recommendations to customers to improve pallet management.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and complaints.
- Maintain accurate customer information across internal systems.
- Conduct periodic account reviews in conjunction with the Sales Team.
- Balance time between customer visits (3–4 days on the road) and office-based admin/analysis.
About You: - Experience in pallet control, warehousing, or logistics (highly desirable).
- Strong customer service and account management background.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills (Excel proficiency essential).
- Confident communicator, able to sit with warehouse managers, business owners, and stakeholders.
- Able to present technical information in a simple, user-friendly way.
- Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with travel around metro Melbourne (industrial hubs).
