Pace VIC are excited to partner with a highly reputable, long-standing client based in Melbourne's West, who are now on the search to add an experienced Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator to join their dynamic, tight-knit team. This role requires an agile problem solver who is well experienced in both domestic and international logistics, and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate international and local logistics to ensure smooth operations, being the interface for all external parties.
- Managing the relationships with suppliers, transport companies, warehouses, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure seamless delivery.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Monitor shipments (imports, exports, stock containers) and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
- Verify and process shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, declarations, receipts, transport instructions).
- Track container deliveries, maintaining shipping schedules, keeping all parties up to date with ETA's, demurrage / detention issues, and any other relevant information.
About You: - MUST have experience with both domestic and international logistics, and a proven ability to manage relationships of suppliers, transport companies, warehouses, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and have a critical eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- MUST be agile, flexible, and a proven problem solver.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who thrives with autonomy.
