About the opportunity

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturing group based in Dandenong South. They’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to look after customers from the moment an order comes in until it’s delivered in full and on time.

This is a fast-paced role. You’ll handle a steady flow of phone and email enquiries, chase information across the business, and stay with each issue until it’s resolved. If you’re organised, accurate, and someone who follows things up without being asked, you’ll do really well here.

What you’ll be doing

• Answering customer enquiries by phone and email, including through a ticketing system
• Entering orders and processing credits and claims accurately in the ERP
• Giving customers delivery ETAs and keeping them updated, following up internally to hit DIFOT targets
• Handling complaints professionally and seeing them through to resolution
• Working with operations, manufacturing, quality, sales and finance to get answers quickly
• Tracking open requests and reporting on service trends
• General administration to keep the team running smoothly

What you’ll bring

• Previous customer service experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, automotive or another product-based business
• Strong administration skills, accurate data entry and close attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication, confident on the phone and clear in email
• A proactive approach: you chase information, follow up and close the loop
• The ability to work at pace and juggle competing priorities
• Solid Microsoft Office skills; Syteline or similar ERP experience highly regarded
• Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday, on site in Dandenong South
• Full working rights in Australia
