Pace VIC is proud to partner with a well-established and innovative manufacturing organisation, based in Melbourne's North. With a commitment to continuous improvement and a people-first culture, the company is on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Demand Planner to join their team.
 
The successfully appointed candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring the demand forecasting and supply chain processes align with business growth objectives. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to a high-performing, innovative team culture.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Demand Management

• Provide weekly priority list for approval and planning in S&OP meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to reflect market insights in demand planning models.
• Provide analysis and reporting on demand history, forecast accuracy, and performance against business targets.
• Manage forecast error metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate forecasts for new product launches, promotions, and product discontinuations.
• Deliver reporting on forecast accuracy, abnormal demand trends, and new product performance.
• Create and maintain customer material data, generate weekly DIFOT reports, monitor obsolete stock, and address ad hoc queries outside of S&OP.

About You:

• 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Coordination.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with demand planning systems, ERP platforms (SAP ideal), and S&OP processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
• A growth mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Proven ability to manage complex scenarios with attention to detail and self-motivation.
