HR & Accounts Manager to become an integral part of its close-knit team.

This is a varied role that will include: - Managing fortnightly payroll in Xero, maintaining payroll records, superannuation, payroll tax and ATO compliance.
- Owning the accounts payable function from end-to-end, including invoice processing, coding, supplier payments, bank reconciliations and purchase order reconciliations.
- Following up outstanding accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow and minimise overdue balances.
- Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, system access, induction documentation and employee records.
- Managing LeavePlus administration, employee records, uniforms, PPE registers and day-to-day HR administration.
- Maintaining WorkCover administration, return-to-work documentation, incident reporting and compliance registers.
- Coordinating HazardCo administration while ensuring safety documentation, licences, certifications and compliance records remain current.
- Maintaining accurate data across Xero, Innergy, Fathom and Notion, including job costing, reporting support and system integrity.
- Supporting leadership by continuously improving administrative processes and ensuring accurate reporting across finance and HR functions.
About you: - Previous experience in a similar HR, Payroll, Finance or Office Management position with responsibility across both people and finance administration.
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll, accounts payable and reconciliations within Xero.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Fair Work requirements, Superannuation and payroll compliance.
- Experience administering HR processes including onboarding, employee records and leave management.
- Exposure to WorkCover administration, WHS documentation or compliance management will be highly regarded.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail with exceptional accuracy across financial and employee records.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise across all levels of the business.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving systems, processes and operational efficiency.
