Our client who is a global leader in the Agricultural space is on the lookout for a Safety Officer to oversee the implementation of health, safety and environment processes to streamline compliance. 

This is a newly created position where the successful candidate will work closely with the MD and Operations Director. 

The day to day activities will include:

• Driving initiatives that can allow for efficiencies from an environmental perspective
• Assisting the company in reaching their goal to reduce their carbon footprint
• Managing EHS across ANZ;
• Partnering with the business to drive EHS initiatives across departments
• Setting controls, then advising and rolling out controls throughout the business
• Maintain legal, governmental and company environmental, health, medical and safety-related records according to standards

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience working with management systems – in particular AS/NZS ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a supervisor or manager capacity 
• Qualification in OHS
• Extensive knowledge of HSE legislation 
• Interpersonal, communication and conflict management skills
