Full Job Description:Our client is a long-standing, purpose-driven business within the health and wellbeing sector, known for their innovative product range and customer-first approach. They supply equipment and services across commercial, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer channels, supporting a national client base.
They are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead their internal sales support function — a critical role that bridges customer service, sales coordination, stock planning, and administration. This is
not a selling role: instead, your focus will be on enabling the external sales team, improving internal processes, and ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of customer solutions.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
About the Role: Reporting to the National Sales Manager, and working closely with customer service, logistics, warehousing, and e-commerce teams, you will:
- Manage and mentor two direct reports in the internal sales team
- Oversee quoting, pricing, and tender processes in line with commercial objectives
- Coordinate internal workflows to support timely order processing and customer satisfaction
- Maintain and improve internal systems, including CRM accuracy and sales reporting
- Liaise with external sales reps, distributors, and clients to ensure clear communication and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with inventory, supply chain, and warehouse teams to forecast stock needs and manage slow-moving items
- Support product launches, staff training, and the continuous improvement of customer service standards
- Contribute to internal strategic projects, working closely with leadership across departments
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable team culture
To succeed in this role, you will bring: - Proven experience in inside sales, sales operations, or sales administration (ideally with team leadership)
- Strong commercial acumen and a collaborative communication style
- Experience liaising across multiple internal departments to coordinate outcomes
- Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff within a fast-paced environment
- Strong systems knowledge — ideally including CRM, ERP, and Excel
- A proactive and process-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
What’s in it for You: - Join a values-led business making a meaningful impact in the health and wellbeing sector
- Stable, long-term role in a supportive and collaborative environment
- No cold calling or external selling — focus on operations, service, and leadership
- Work with a well-respected national brand with an engaged team culture
- Opportunity to shape and improve systems and processes across the sales function
