Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Installation Lead to join their close-knit team based in Geelong.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced cabinet maker or joinery installer who enjoys leading by example, coordinating site activities and delivering exceptional workmanship. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will take ownership of installation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard while maintaining clear communication throughout every stage of the project.
This is a varied role that will include: - Leading on-site installation teams across high-end residential and commercial joinery projects.
- Coordinating daily installation activities to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Working closely with Project Managers to provide regular site updates and communicate project progress.
- Identifying site issues, coordinating rework requirements and ensuring corrective actions are documented and communicated promptly.
- Maintaining accurate project records and installation progress throughout each stage of the project.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe and professional worksite.
- Coordinating with internal manufacturing teams to ensure seamless project handovers and minimise installation delays.
- Mentoring and supporting installers while promoting a positive, team-focused culture.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance installation quality, communication and project delivery.
About you: - Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Installation Lead, Site Supervisor or Senior Cabinet Maker within the joinery industry.
- Strong cabinet making and joinery installation experience across high-end residential or commercial projects.
- Proven ability to lead teams while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and installation documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with Project Managers, clients and site teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem solving with the confidence to resolve site issues as they arise.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, organised and professional work environment.
- A genuine passion for craftsmanship, customer service and delivering outstanding project outcomes.
