A very rare and exciting opportunity has presented for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist / Lead to join and their dedicated team.
This is a varied role that will include: - Management of end-to-end inventory accuracy, integrity, and visibility across all 3PL warehouse locations.
- The owner of inventory master data integrity — ensuring that product data (units of measure, pack sizes, barcodes, carton quantities, pallet configurations) is accurate and maintained across systems.
- Partnering with the Supply Chain Manager on 3PL governance.
- Supporting Finance on month-end reconciliation and annual audit, and provides the trading team with accurate stock position data to support commercial decision-making.
- Process improvement: identifying and implementing improvements to inventory management processes, systems, and controls to increase accuracy and reduce waste.
- Champion best practice in stock control and master data management across the Supply Chain function and 3PL partner network.
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience in inventory control within a 3PL or warehouse environment (imported goods experience highly regarded).
- Experience with FEFO/FIFO management in perishable or shelf-life-controlled products.
- Strong ERP experience required; (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Power BI desirable.
- Detail-oriented with strong data discipline - experience maintaining product master data (UOMs, pack sizes, barcodes, pallet configurations).
- Exceptional communication skills.
