Our client is a global leader in heavy equipment manufacturing, known for its engineering innovation and commitment to operational excellence. With a strong local presence and a collaborative leadership team, they are now seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their team.

This is an opportunity to step into a role that combines hands-on financial management with strategic business insight. The successful candidate will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making across multiple departments, helping drive performance and continuous improvement.

About the Role

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with department heads on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Monitor key metrics such as cash flow, working capital, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax obligations.
• Support cross-functional teams (sales, service, operations, marketing) with data and insights.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and system optimisation across finance operations.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it).
• Experience in management accounting, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or equipment-based environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving improvements.
• Exposure to SAP or large ERP systems will be highly regarded.
