Pac VIC are proud to partner with a highly reputable family owned and ran organisation, who are a market leader in their field, producing the highest quality meats to both to domestic and international markets. A rare vacancy has arisen for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee all production of packaged and processed meat for the markets the company supplies. This covers everything from arrival of cattle at their third-party abattoirs, to the delivery of meat to export markets. 

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Manage and maintain positive relationship with third party processor.
• Advise boning and delivery instructions to abattoir, maintain and update accurate boning specifications. supervise grading & boning at abattoir and ensure specifications are met.
• Processing export documentation including creating RFP’s - Health Certificates, Invoices, Air waybills, Waybills, Bill of Lading and specific country requirements.
• Assist cold store operations as required, and coordinate secondary processing.
• Play an active role in OHS compliance and ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

About You:

• Experience in meat production / first-hand abattoir experience is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across a range of internal and external stakeholders is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to OHS compliance and safety culture.
• Experience processing or knowledge of export documentation highly advantageous.
• A self-driven, enthusiastic candidate with a passion for the meat industry and a can-do attitude is essential.
