Our client, a well-established and highly regarded pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Team Leader  to join their growing team.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in leading day-to-day production activities within a non-sterile manufacturing environment.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring operations run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with GMP standards, while supporting and guiding a team on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production staff, including rotating casual team members
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, SOPs, Work Instructions, and batch documentation
• Oversee production, packing, and cleaning operations to meet quality and safety standards
• Check materials, equipment, and line readiness prior to production
• Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Operate specialised equipment and perform basic maintenance (after training)
• Support quality compliance through accurate documentation and process control

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of GMP and production processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid numerical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work with limited supervision and make sound decisions on the floor
