The Logistics Specialist is responsible for is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics operations across retail stores and online channels in the business. This role oversees inventory flow, distribution, and fulfilment processes for both B2B and B2C, in close collaboration with 3PL partners and internal departments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Manage inbound and outbound stock flow for store replenishment, new/seasonal launches, and returns.
- Coordinate bulk deliveries for store opening/closure, campaigns and promotional activity, partnering with store operations.
- Liaising with logistics suppliers - warehouses, transport companies etc including arranging deliveries as necessary for domestic shipments
- Keep all stakeholders informed of contract balances, including abnormal movements, on distribution and Australian orders to prevent shortages, delays and mitigate slow moving stock.
- Create and maintain strong external and internal stakeholder relationships.
About you:
- At least 3 years in a logistics role, ideally domestic focused.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Experience managing third party logistics providers is essential.
- Previous experience in consumer goods and retail is essential.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to work well within a team but also autonomously.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong ability to build relationships and adapt communication styles.
