Our client is a leading name in Australian passenger transport, with a network of depots across regional NSW and the ACT. They need an experienced People & Culture Coordinator to join their Queanbeyan team and keep recruitment moving. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll be trusted to own your workload from day one.

About the role
You’ll sit within a P&C team of ten, working closely with a Business Partner, a Talent Acquisition Specialist and a fellow Coordinator. Your focus will be on:

• Managing high-volume recruitment end to end, from screening applications and coordinating interviews through to medicals and drug and alcohol testing
• Checking licences, certifications and compliance documentation for driver and mechanic hires
• Drafting employment contracts and maintaining employee records in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Tracking pipelines and workflows in Monday.com
• Coordinating onboarding so new starters are set up and ready to go
• Providing general P&C support across the employee lifecycle, and escalating complex matters where needed

About you
You’re organised, quick on your feet and comfortable juggling plenty at once without dropping the ball. You’ll bring:

• Solid experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally in transport, logistics, manufacturing or another operational environment
• Confidence handling compliance-heavy hiring, including licences, tickets and medicals
• The ability to work autonomously and prioritise in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience with an HRIS or ATS, with exposure to D365 or Monday.com highly regarded
• Availability to work on site in Queanbeyan five days a week
• This role is subject to a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
