Meet David

A transparent friendly consultative approach is how David is seen by his clients and the candidates he puts forward.  Whether the role is for someone new to the industry or a seasoned manager, David maintains professionalism and honesty throughout and genuinely wants to know what people are looking for and why, so the match is exactly what both parties are after.

David comes from a near 9 year career within the freight forwarding logistics industry, beginning as a runner/courier (didn’t we all) to learning all facets of the industry from import/export operations, domestic transport and warehousing, to international customer service and key account management. After walking into an agency asking for help in finding a way into a BDM position, he found himself working as a recruiter for said agency focusing on the freight forwarding market he knew and loved.

After learning his craft over nearly 4 years in his first recruitment agency role, David expanded his focus into more senior white collar positions within supply chain, logistics & manufacturing with one of the largest agencies in the world, which he enjoyed and loved for nearly 7 years, but always missed the focus industry professionalism of the specialist agency.

After relocating from Melbourne with his wife and two young girls to Brisbane in early 2022, David felt what better time than any to go back to what he always knew and loved and to work with other like minded people of focus and industry love.
