Meet Nicola

Hailing from the busy city of Portsmouth in the UK, Nicky keeps the show running as the Senior Administration Assistant at Pace Appointments Qld. Having fulfilled such roles as senior administrative officer and executive support officer in the UK, Nicky relocated to Australia in 2010 bringing her experience, knowledge and skills where she finally settled herself in the outback mining town of Mount Isa. Nicky quickly progressed her career through to management and enjoyed all that the outback and neighbouring country towns had to offer.

Longing for the city life, Nicky made the move to Brisbane and drew on her experience and skills in clinical support within the disability sector before accepting an office-based role with Pace, taking her back to where her experience lies, especially within recruitment industry helping people build on their skills.

Nicky’s own passions lie with the love of travel, culture and especially the culinary delights offered in different countries. At a count of 27 Countries currently visited, Nicky still has plenty of flying time up her sleeve. But her biggest passion is her love of Christmas. Being from the UK it’s all about enjoying the festivities with family and friends and the lights of her tree, now tucked up in the air-conditioning with a hot chocolate.
